Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the TwindomAI service available at twindomai.com ("the service"), operated by TwindomAI Sàrl, a company being incorporated in Switzerland ("we", "us"). By creating an account or signing in, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
TwindomAI is a personal-assistant platform that lets you chat with AI avatars, upload reference documents, and connect external services (calendar, email, webhooks) so the assistant can act on your behalf. Features are evolving — we may add, change, or remove capabilities over time.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- If you believe your credentials are compromised, change your password and email us immediately.
- One person per account. Do not share credentials.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Send spam, phishing, or malware via the connector features.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that violates the safety policies of the underlying LLM providers.
- Use the service to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without appropriate human review.
4. AI-generated content
- Responses produced by avatars are generated by large language models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. Verify anything important before relying on it — especially financial, legal, or medical content.
- You own the prompts you submit and, subject to the LLM provider's terms, the outputs you receive. We do not claim ownership of either.
- Do not submit information you don't have the right to share — confidential third-party data, personal data of others without their consent, etc.
5. Connected services
When you connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, SMTP, webhook, or any other integration:
- You authorise us to access the data within the scopes you grant.
- Our handling of data from Google and Microsoft is described in the Privacy Policy (§3.2).
- You can revoke access at any time from Profile → Connections or from the provider's own console.
- You are responsible for compliance with the connected provider's own terms.
- Actions performed via connectors (e.g. emails sent on your behalf, webhooks delivered) are attributed to you. You are responsible for their content.
6. Data and privacy
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Please read it.
7. Subscription and payment
The service may be offered free of charge, on a paid subscription, or under a custom agreement. Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period, and refund policy will be presented to you before you commit, and override the relevant clauses of these terms.
8. Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We will remove your data within 30 days.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten the security of the service, or expose us to legal risk — with reasonable notice where feasible.
- On termination, your access ends, but stored chat / document data may be retained briefly for the periods described in the privacy policy.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwindomAI and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or 100 CHF, whichever is greater.
11. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when the service or our practices change. Material updates will be announced in-app, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought in the courts of the operator's domicile, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules grant you the right to sue elsewhere.
